The prayer whispered in my heart,
The smell of warm coffee swirling under my whipped cream,
The gaze of my lover’s eyes,
The kiss of my mother’s cheek.
The peacefulness of the house,
The sunsets at the beach,
The green grass of the park,
That cloud behind the grey one.
The tear in a sad movie,
The laugh friends make,
The visit to the SPA,
Fruits, cake and candy.
The last page of the book,
Hot bathes and bubbles,
Little babies with their bottles,
The last mile of the run for cause.
The first glimpse of internet access,
His hand holding yours,
Work paid off to your success,
Freedom beyond lies in thankfulness.
